Oklahoma Requirements Complete

XpertHR is on track to have all 50 states and the District of Columbia by the end of July. We are completing states on a rolling basis until then and are now up to 34 "states" with the completion of Oklahoma this week.

Our Oklahoma Employment Law Coverage

XpertHR covers the complete spectrum of labor and employment law for Oklahoma employers. For example, did you know:

  • In November of 2011, House Bill Number 1593 went into effect repealing the Oklahoma Municipal Employee Collective Bargaining Act. As a result, cities with at least 35,000 residents are now not required to bargain collectively with their non-uniformed municipal employees.
  • An employer that receives an income withholding order (IWO) for child support must begin withholding with the first pay period that occurs after the employer receives the IWO. The employer must remit the withheld amounts within seven business days after payday. If an employee is terminated from employment, the employer must send a termination notice within 10 days.
  • A group health policy must provide special enrollment rights when an employee gains a dependent through marriage, birth, adoption or placement for adoption. In these cases, a special enrollment period must be available to the employee and, if otherwise eligible for coverage, to the employee's spouse and new dependents.

This is but a taste of the depth and breadth provided to our Oklahoma subscribers!
